Angela Louise Christian

Angela Louise Christian, 51, of Appomattox, VA, passed away on August 14, 2024.  Born on May 10, 1973, in Lynchburg, VA, she was a daughter to the late Betty Pettigrew and Charles Russell Christian.

Angela graduated from Appomattox County High School and was an active member of Morning Star Baptist Church.  She lived a life marked by devotion to her community and faith, participating fervently in church activities.

She is survived by her children, Keshaun Hodge, Devonta Christian, Sha'Nya Franklin, and Zanchaz Christian; grandchildren, Kehlani Christian and Kaliyah Christian; Godson, Zikeious Meggingson; and siblings, Jeffrey Christian, Charles Christian, Sylvia Christian, and Lorie Hodge.

Angela was preceded in death by her parents and both sets of grandparents.

A service to celebrate Angela's life was held on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at noon at Jordan Baptist Church, 11882 Stonewall Road, Appomattox, VA.

Public viewing was held on Monday, August 19, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Bruce & Stiff Funeral Home, 1121 Old Courthouse Rd., Appomattox, VA  24522

Angela's life and legacy will be remembered by all who knew her as a beacon of love and strength within her community.
