Belinda Marie (Croner) Jordan

Mrs. Belinda Marie Jordan (Sissy), age 49 of Appomattox, gained her wings on Sunday, November 20, 2022 at her residence. Belinda was born on April 11, 1973 to Linda Burrell and the late Pernell Woodson. She attended Appomattox County Schools, and she was a member of Zion Baptist Church. Belinda was outgoing and full of life. She was also a loving person who cherished her family. In her free time, she enjoyed fishing, playing spades, dancing, taking pictures, running the road, and spending time with family, and let’s not forget she was a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan.

She is survived by her husband, Keith Jordan; three children, Montel Croner, Monica Croner, and Khalil Croner of Appomattox; one stepson, John Reaves; three grandchildren, Kevin Croner, Makai Croner, and Kaisley Croner of Appomattox; one step grandchild, Kensley Reaves; four brothers, Robert Croner (Eniro) of Appomattox, Nathan Burrell of Madison Heights, Matthew Burrell of Appomattox, Andre Burrell (Michelle) of Appomattox; two sisters, Estelle Burrell of Appomattox and Kierra Burrell of Appomattox; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. She leaves behind a devoted uncle, Leon Croner (Verna), Harriett Croner; and two devoted friends, Michele Burrell and Stephanie Walker.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Mrs. Marie Croner; and beloved cousin, Kevin Burrell.

She is Not Gone

Ease your grief, she is not gone, For in your heart

She lingers on.

Her smile, her laugh, her special way, will comfort

You from day to day.

You’ll feel her presence in the breeze, that

Dances gently through the trees.

And it’s her face that you shall see, when you’re

In need of company.

At any time you can recall,

A funeral service for Mrs. Belinda Jordan will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2022, 1pm at Zion Baptist Church, Pamplin, Va. She will lie in repose one hour prior to the funeral at the church.  
 

Public viewing will be held on Friday, December 2, 2022, 12 noon until 5 pm at the Bruce and Stiff Funeral Home.
