Carnie (S.) Jacobs

Carnie is the second of six children born to the late Glenn and Ola Smith.

She attended public schools in Prince Edward County.  Following graduation, she briefly attended Nursing School in New Jersey.

Carnie was formerly married to Robert Jacobs.  She is the mother of two children:  Mario and Ana.

She had a humble, quiet, and precious spirit.  She loved the Lord, and her life has truly been a testimony to the Goodness of God.

Carnie is survived by a brother, Gary (Catherine), a sister, Deborah, sisters-in-law: Geri and Alberta (Lenny), nieces, and other relatives and friends.  Special thanks to Nina and the staff at Bridgeforth Manor, who have been her caretakers for many years.

A Memorial service for Ms. Carnie Smith Jacobs will be held on Friday, July 26, 2024, at 2 p.m. at the Bruce and Stiff Funeral Home, 1121 Old Courthouse Rd., Appomattox, VA. 24522
