Dan Charles Wickham, 84, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2022 surrounded by his family. Dan was born in Bath, NY and lived sixty plus years in New York before retiring to South-Central Virginia. Dan lived a full life with his wife of 63 years. He successfully owned two businesses and enjoyed gunsmithing, engraving, dancing, and playing his fiddle. He was a member of the North-South Skirmish Association for several years and traveled the country participating in black powder competition and Civil War reenactments. He was also a member of the Old Tyme Fiddlers Association in Central New York and spent many hours entertaining large groups of people.
Dan is survived by his wife Diane; brother David; sister Linda; his three children – Garry, Tina (Don), Dan (Donna); 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service in honor of Dan will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 18, 2022 at Oak View Presbyterian Church, 7007 Thomas Jefferson Hwy, Charlotte Court House, VA 23923
