Daniel W. Spinner

Mr. Daniel William Spinner, 90, of Concord, VA departed this life on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at his residence.

Born in Bedford County on July 27, 1934, he was the son of the late Daniel and Gladys Spinner.  He was preceded in death by his daughter, Anna Spinner; sister, Mrs. Dorothy Spinner Adams; a nephew, Daniel Sylvester Spinner and a niece, Rose Mary Spinner.

Daniel is survived by three sons; Daniel William Spinner of Concord, VA; Vinnie Valente of Rock Hill, CT and John Valente of San Diego, CA; a lifetime partner, Edith Valente of Concord, VA.  Surviving also are two nephews; John Spinner (Debra) of Lynchburg, VA, Phillip Spinner (Lavonia) of Lynchburg; six nieces, Gladys Spinner of Lynchburg, VA; Gloria Staten of Lynchburg, VA; Dorothy Cheagle of Sumter, SC; Arlene Tinsley of Lynchburg, VA; Martha Meadows (Clyde) of Lynchburg, VA, Lucy Spinner (Lorenzo) of Lynchburg, VA and a host of other relatives and friends.

A service for Mr. Spinner will be held at 1 p.m., Sunday, October 27, 2024, at the Bruce and Stiff Funeral Home Chapel.
