Obituary
Dennis Pennix of 802 Spencer Rd., Concord, VA, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at Lynchburg General Hospital. He was born February 24, 1957, a son of the late Deacon Claude Pennix, Sr., and Sallie Trent Pennix; three brothers, Lloyd Pennix, Thomas Pennix and Claude “Sam” Pennix; sisters, Melinda Megginson and Betty Faye Pettigrew preceded him in death.
He joined the Mt. Obed Baptist Church.
Dennis leaves to mourn four brothers; Robert Lee Pennix, George Pennix (Willie), Phillip Pennix (Jenny), Rev. Eddie Pennix (Sandra); three sisters; Joyce Robertson, Jean Mosley, Catherine Christian (David); one aunt, Elna Pennix; one sister-in-law, Louise Pennix; two devoted nieces, Sherry Walker, Tameka Robertson Harris and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins, whom he loved so much.
A graveside funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 22, 2021, at 1 p.m. at Jordan Baptist Church, Appomattox, VA. Viewing will be held at the Bruce & Stiff Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, April 21, 2021, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m.
Wearing of masks and social distancing are required.
