Obituary
The Lord called our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother to her heavenly home on Sunday, March 6, 2022.
Ealdon was born on January 11, 1930, to the late Dimple and Annie Walker. She joined the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church at an early age.
She united in holy matrimony to Theodore A. Walker at an early age. To this union, seven children were born. Ealdon was preceded in death by husband Theodore Walker; sons, Rufus and Kenneth Walker.
Left to cherish her memory is her children, Theodore A.“Nook”, Pamplin, VA; Mary A., New Jersey; Bernice, Detroit, MI; Sherr and Cora, Appomattox, VA; daughter-in-law, Barbara Walker, Prospect, VA; seven grandchildren, three step-grandsons, five great-grandchildren, a devoted sister Odell Chambers, Pamplin, VA.; sister-in-law Virginia Goode, Prospect, VA; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 13, 2022, at 1 p.m., from the Bruce & Stiff Funeral Home Chapel. A viewing will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2022, from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. at the Bruce & Stiff Funeral Home Chapel. MASKS ARE REQUIRED.
