Gregory Vincent Preston

God in his infinite wisdom called his son, Gregory Vincent Preston, home from labor to reward at his residence on Monday, March 26, 2018.  He was born on December 4, 1967 to the late John William Preston and Ella Brown Preston. Predeceasing Gregory is his mother and father, John and Ella Preston; brothers; John Filbert Preston and Baby Preston; grandparents, Ella Dillard Brown and Douglas Brown; Josephine Hunter Preston and Stephen Preston and nephews Christopher M. Pennix, Jr., and Corey Pennix.

Gregory attended the Appomattox County Public school system.  He loved his God and worshipped at First Baptist Church.  For enjoyment he loved dancing, drinking his soft drinks and daily recreation at the Hudson House.

He leaves to cherish his memories four brothers; Michael (Alberta) Preston, Amherst, VA; Ronnie Preston, Richmond, VA.; Gilbert Preston, Appomattox, VA, and Ronnie (Arlene) Elliott, Concord, VA; sisters, Betty Pennix and Deborah Preston both of Appomattox, VA., a devoted friend, B.J. Rose, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Greg, you are not forgotten
nor will you ever be.
No one can fill your vacant place

Looking back with memories
upon the path you trod
we bless the time we had with you
and leave the rest to God.
