Jacinta Jada Williams-Gibbs

On Monday morning, March 14, 2022, God came and picked another beautiful flower for His garden, Jacenta Jade Williams-Gibbs, 37 years of age.  She was born to Kenneth Williams, Jr., and Tonua Marie Saunders on June 10, 1984, in Oregon who has preceded her in death.

For enjoyment, she loved football and treasured being with her family.  Jacinta worked in a college school system.

Those left to cherish her memory:  Husband, Allen Jackson, Prospect, VA of the home; sons, K.C. Osborne (Franklinville, NC), Izaiah Jackson, Kristopher Jackson and Damien Jackson, all of Prospect, VA.  Daughters: Nikia Sellars (Sophia, NC); I’esha Williams (Statesville, NC); Step-son, Omar Jackson (Lexington, NC); Step-daughters: O’Haiji Smith (Greensboro, NC); Grandchildren: Scarlett Nicole Marie Hughes (Sophia, NC), Naomi Pass and Naloni Pass both of Greensboro, NC; Zaniya, Amelia, Aubrey, Karson, Lauren, Katelyn, Christian all of NC.  Step-father, Anthony Lewis of Greensboro, NC.  Brothers: Terence Denny, Pendleton, Oregon; Anthony Lewis, Jr., and Alexander Lewis both of Geensboro, NC.  Sisters: Codi Williams-Allen of Greensboro, and Whitney Williams of Kannapolis, NC; Brother-in-law, Brenton Allen of Greensboro, NC; Uncle & Aunt,

~The Day She Left~

We watched her suffer, day by day; It caused us bitter grief;
To see her slowly pine away; And could not give relief.
Her weary hours and days of pain; Her troubled nights are past;
And in our aching hearts we know; She has found sweet rest at last.
'Tis sweet to know we will meet again; Where parting is no more;
And my dear wife I loved so well; Has only gone before.
God knows how much I miss her.  He counts the tears I shed;
And whispers, "Hush, she only sleeps; Your wife is not dead."
Someday, some time, my years shall see; the face I loved so well.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2022, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the chapel of Bruce & Stiff Funeral Home Chapel. followed by the funeral service on Friday, March 25, 2022, at 1 p.m. at the chapel of Bruce & Stiff Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Gross Street, Farmville, VA.
