On Wednesday, May 11, 2022, Jasmine Denise Kelso went home to be with her Lord. She was born on December 7, 1991 to Joyce Elaine Adams and William Leon Kelso of Appomattox, VA.
Jasmine attended public school in Appomattox then pursued an associate’s degree from Virginia Western Community College in Roanoke, VA with an associate’s degree. Furthering her education, she then attended Radford University where she received a bachelor’s degree.
She loved travelling, shopping, dining at different restaurants, her DIY projects and most of all spending time with family.
Jasmine was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Callie and James Adams; one uncle, Thomas Adams and two aunts, Angela Adams and Charlene Gray..
She leaves to cherish her memory her son Christian Shane Fridley and fiancé Shane Fridley; mother, Joyce Adams Davis; father, William Leon Kelso; step-father, Leroy Davis; step-mother, Lora Lynn Kelso; two sisters, Tanika Adams and Tai Kelso; paternal grandparents William and Alice Kelso, all of Appomattox; ten uncles, eight aunts and many other family members and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2022, at 11 a.m. at the Zion Baptist Church Cemetery, Five Fork Rd., Pamplin, VA 23958.
A viewing will be held on Friday, May 20, 2022, from 12 noon until 6 p.m. at the Bruce and Stiff Funeral Home. Masks are required.
