Margie Ann Coleman

Margie Flowers Burns Calloway Coleman, 258 Woodchuck Dr., Appomattox, VA, three times widowed, was born October 2, 1941 and transitioned this life June 15, 2023 at Appomattox Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Margie was a faithful member of Mt. Shiloh Baptist Church where she served on the food committee.  She was a caretaker and worked in food services her entire career.

She leaves to cherish her loss, three daughters, Kathy Jones (James), Fannie Wall (Larry) and a devoted daughter Bonnie Johnson (fiancé, Cliff Burleigh); one sister, Joan McArthur; six grandchildren, Maurice Lewis (DeAndra), Vincent Lewis (Monique), Dominique Morgan, Brittany Morgan, Carlos Morgan and Jermone Calloway (Andrea); 10 great grandchildren, Darrius Slaughter (fiancé, Jessica Matthews), Ashton Lewis, Noah Morgan, Tony White, Charles White, King Morgan, Averi Morgan, Faith Calloway, Grace Calloway, Serenity Calloway and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Margie will be greatly missed as she touched so many lives.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 24, 2023 in the Bruce & Stiff Funeral Home Chapel.

Viewing will be held on Friday, June 23, 2023, 11 a.m. until 5 p.m.
