Robert Pernell Hunter entered into his eternal joy, peace and praise on Saturday, November 16, 2024, after several weeks in Wilmington and Christiana Hospitals. At the time of his passing he was a patient in the Hospice/palliative care unit.

Born on June 12, 1961, he was born in Lynchburg, Virginia, where he attended public school, and at the age of 18, he joined the United States Marine Corps. Robert was a very talented artist, master plumber, and worked in every aspect of the field in construction. He took great pride in his work.

He leaves to cherish his memory, His mother, Pearl Juanita Saunders, his father, Robert Hunter (Aldene), his siblings, Cecil C. Hunter of Lynchburg, Va, Tonya Davis of Falls Church, Va, Felicia Rodriguez Pendergrass (Theodore) of Wynnewood, PA, Rodney D. Saunders of New Castle, De. He is the father of two daughters, father in law to two sons in law, and the grandfather to three grandchildren, all of Lynchburg, VA. He leaves a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and the special love of his life, Mrs. Ruth Irving, his 103 year old grandmother, a pillar in the community of Appomattox, Va.

When someone you love becomes a memory that memory becomes a treasure. You will be a treasure in our hearts forever, your early walk with God has lead to a seat at the Master’s feet. Rest easy now, my son.
