Stanley "Pancake" Isaac Pankey

Stanley “Pancake” Pankey went to Heaven on Saturday, February 18, 2023 surrounded by his family.

He was born in Washington, D.C. on December 6, 1964 and was raised in Appomattox, VA.

Stanley is survived by his daughter Dominique Pankey and son Daniel Lukehart along with his granddaughters Madison and Bianca and his best friend Carol Lukehart.  He was the son of the late Willie Pankey and Mary Lou Wright Pankey.  Stanley was a friend to more people than we can count.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Geneva Nowlin-Wright, his uncle Ben Wright, Aunt Shirley Wright-Scruggs, uncle James Wright, Aunt Oakie Wright, and a multitude of family and friends too numerous to mention.

A funeral service for Mr. Pankey will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2023, 11 a.m. from the Bruce and Stiff Funeral Home Chapel

Viewing will be held on Friday, February 24, 2023, 12 noon until 5 p.m. at Bruce & Stiff Funeral Home.
