“And I heard a voice from heaven saying come unto me and I will give you rest”. On January 24, 2022, Stephanie Anne Glover, 48 of Appomattox, VA answered that call.
Stephanie is the daughter of the late James C. Glover and Geraldine Glover. She was born on February 4, 1973.
Stephanie accepted Christ at an early age and joined the Springfield Baptist Church. Loving her God and church, Stephanie was faithful servant for Christ and worked diligently and used her God-given talents. She was a graduate of the Appomattox County High School Class of 1991. Stephanie worked faithfully for RST Marketing for 15 years.
She enjoyed being around her family, especially her uncles. Stephanie did not bite her tongue. As your friend, she would always tell you what was on her mind. She enjoyed her Big Mama drink while playing Bid Whist with her family.
Stephanie leaves to cherish her memories, a daughter: Shaniya Johnson, who was the love of her life as well as her pride and joy; her mother, Geraldine Glover; sisters, Charlene Trent, Michelle (Jerome) Christian of Appomattox, VA, Kathy Evans of Baltimore, MD, Wendy (Allen) Penn of Washington, DC, Brenda Glover of Lanham, MD; brothers, Otis Stapleton of Appomattox, VA, and James (LaTasha) Glover Jr., of Buckingham, VA; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and dear friends.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 30, 2022, at 2 p.m. at the Springfield Baptist Church. A viewing will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2022, from 12 noon until 6 p.m. at the Bruce & Stiff Funeral Home. Social distancing and wearing of facial masks are required,
There will be no repast following the service.
